From the mouthes of Firsties

Student: "Mrs. Rapp, I saw a tomato this weekend. It was medium sized." 

Me: "Wow, that's awesome. Where did you see it?" 

Student: "in my backyard. It was moving around." 

Me: "Oh so you and your family grow tomatoes I your backyard?" 

Student: (with a confused look on his face) "No we don't. The tomato just was there and it was rolling a tumbleweed." 

Me: "Oh, a tornado was in your backyard. Gotcha!........" 

The conversation went on. It just made me smile and I thought I'd pass a little joy on to you.
